My Zumi turned on, but the screen says "Zumi can't wake up".
If you turn on the switch but you see two X's on the screen, there are a few reasons why this is happening.

- Your SD card may be missing.
Check that your MicroSD card has been inserted into the Raspberry Pi Zero. If it's missing, power off Zumi, insert the Zumi SD card, and try again. The issue should be resolved.
- The Raspberry Pi (or other component) is not connected correctly.
Power off Zumi and take off the shell. Check your build against steps 2-9 in Lesson 0.2: Building Zumi. Pay special attention to the OLED cables and that the Raspberry Pi Zero pins are lined up correctly.
- The initial bootup is taking longer than usual.
Normal Zumi bootup takes about 2 minutes. It's possible that for your particular Zumi the initial bootup is taking longer than usual. If the "Zumi can't wake up" appears even after you have checked that the SD card is properly inserted, wait 5 more minutes and check the network list on your computer anyway.
- The SD card is damaged or corrupted.
If the error message remains on the screen even after 5 minutes, your SD card may need to be re-flashed. Reach out to us at support@robolink.com for a new SD card or follow the video tutorial below to re-flash your own SD card with the Zumi OS.
The link to the latest Zumi SD card image for re-flashing your SD card can be found here or in the video description.
