What is the best set up for my drones longevity?

Our drones were developed with classroom application as the primary focus, followed by competition use. To help prioritize your drone's health, minimizing the number of accidents the drone experiences is generally important for its longevity.
Although the drones are durable, they are not indestructible. Therefore, it is essential to implement precautionary measures (eg. Pre-Flight Checklist + clear flight environment) to help minimize crashes.
Option 1 (Recommended):
- Acquire a full-size to queen-size memory foam pad from a retailer of your choice (e.g., Walmart, Target, Amazon).
- Place the programming mat on top of the foam pad.
This setup is recommended for all class types but is most strongly advised for classrooms with hard flooring. It assists in minimizing severe impacts that could potentially render the drone unable to take flight.
Option 2 (Optional):
For environments with elevated ceilings, we suggest using the Small CoDrone Arena. This measure prevents drones from becoming lodged against overhead structures and ensures flight remains within a designated area.
