Can I use the color sensor on CoDrone EDU while flying?

CoDrone EDU has two color sensors on the bottom of the body. They work by emitting red, green and blue light and measuring the reflected light from the surface below.

These sensors can only detect colors directly on the surface beneath the drone when not flying. In other words, CoDrone EDU cannot “scan” color colors on the floor while flying. The drone must come to a complete stop and land on a surface before being able to request data from the sensor.
